RAILS & ALES: LIGHT RAIL BREWERY CRAWL – FAQS

When Are Taprooms Open?

Operating times vary per taproom so you’ll want to make sure to check on their websites or on their social media pages to confirm their hours of opperation prior to visiting.

What If I’m Running Late To The Pick-Up Event on Friday, September 30?

You won’t be able to pick-up your gear at Lake Monster Brewing after 7:00 PM, so please make sure to arrive at the pick-up before that time!  Should you miss this window please email us at getknitguru@getknitevents.com and we can arrange to have your gear brought to Fulton Brewing on Saturday, Oct. 1 between 12-2 PM at our “Pop-Up Photo Booth”.  There will not be any other times or pick up options available.

Can Someone Else Pick-Up My Gear At the Pick-Up Event?

Yes – because of the nature of this event being self-guided, we’re not ID’ing/wristbanding so it is 100% fine to have a friend pick up your event packet.  In that case – we’re asking the original purchaser to forward the confirmation email (that contains the last name and order number) to the individual that is picking it up so they have it ready on their smartphone (or print it out) so we can confirm the authenticity of purchase.

Can I Drink Beer On the Light Rail?

No.  You may only enjoy your beer in designated locations at each of the featured breweries.

What If It Rains?

Rails & Ales is rain or shine, so we encourage participants to dress for the forecast. In the case of rain, dress accordingly and bring an umbrella.  Some breweries will have covered outdoor areas, while others will not – allowing you to embrace the weather and dance in the rain!  Some of our pop-up events – especially the live music at Lake Monster Brewing on Friday, Sept. 30 between 4-7 PM is weather permitting.

Which Brewery Will I Go To First?

You will have the opportunity to choose from any of the participating breweries as your first stop and make this event your own!

So, What Is My Crawl Going To Look Like?

In short, however you would like it to! At Check In, you will hop aboard the light rail and ride it to your first brewery. Then, choose-your-own-adventure! You can stay at one brewery all day, ride the rails in one direction – taking time to visit whichever breweries you choose, or jump around the route in either direction.

I Requested That My Gear Be Delivered But Haven’t Seen It – Help!

You should have received a Shipping Confirmation Email, when you’re order shipped and it should arrive no later than Thursday, September 29 via USPS.  If you haven’t seen it please email us at getknitguru@getknitevents.com as we have tracking info for every shipped order and can look that up for you.

Can I Change My T-Shirt Size?

Sorry no.  All t-shirts have been made to order based on the size requested at time of purchase.

Where’s My Metro Transit Passes?

Metro Transit passes will be emailed out on Friday, Sept. 30 at 10 AM in our ‘final reminders + important info’ email.  Additionally, your event guide will include QR codes linking to those passes.

I Can No Longer Go To Rails & Ales – Can I Get A Refund?

We are not able to offer refunds. You may sell/gift your ticket to another 21+ individual. Simply pass on your Rails & Ales gear to them to enjoy.
