When Should I Arrive To Check-In?
You can arrive anytime between 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at your pre-selected check-in location. Just remember breweries aren’t open until 11:00 AM!
Can I Check In At A Different Check-In Location?
Due to event capacities and where we’ll have your t-shirt waiting, you MAY NOT check in at a different check-in location.
What If I’m Running Late?
You won’t be able to check in after 1:00 PM, so make sure to arrive at check-in before that time!
Can I Drink Beer On the Light Rail?
No. You may only enjoy your beer in designated locations at each of the featured breweries.
What If It Rains?
Rails & Ales is rain or shine, so we encourage participants to dress for the forecast. In the case of rain, dress accordingly and bring an umbrella. Some breweries will have covered outdoor areas, while others will not – allowing you to embrace the weather and dance in the rain!
Which Brewery Will I Go To First?
After check-in, you will have the opportunity to choose from any of the participating breweries as your first stop!
I Can’t Find My Ticket/Confirmation Email – Help!
You should have received your Confirmation Email, which includes a link to your ticket(s), immediately after ticket purchase – Check your spam. Still can’t find it? Email firstname.lastname@example.org on or before Wednesday, September 6 and we will re-issue your ticket. After September 6? – bring your ID to Rails & Ales Check-In, and we can use it in-place of your physical ticket.
So, What Is My Day Going To Look Like?
In short, however you would like it to! At Check In, you will hop aboard the light rail and ride it to your first brewery. Then, choose-your-own-adventure! You can stay at one brewery all day, ride the rails in one direction – taking time to visit whichever breweries you choose, or jump around the route in either direction.
Can I Skip Breweries?
Certainly. Just use your passport to guide you to the stops of the breweries you would like to visit.
Can I Change My T-Shirt Size?
No guarantees, but let us know if you would like to switch your size at Check-In, and we will do our best!
Where’s My Metro Transit Pass?
Metro Transit passes will be emailed out on Tuesday, September 19 – 4 days prior to the event date (corrected information). If you don’t see this email we suggest checking your spam folder or if you’re a Gmail user – your promotions tab. This pass is good for the light rail and all city buses from 9:00AM – 8:00PM on event day – allowing you to navigate throughout the event and get home safely afterwards.
I Can No Longer Go To Rails & Ales – Can I Get A Refund?
We are not able to offer refunds. Prior to Saturday, September 15 , you may sell/transfer your ticket to another 21+ individual. Simply forward your confirmation email to email@example.com with the full name(s) of the original ticket holders along with the full name(s) and email of the 21+ individual to whom you’d like to transfer your ticket. After September 15, we will not be accepting ‘official’ transfers – however all you need to do is forward the email from TempoTickets that had access to the digital tickets. The transferee’s can print the tickets from there. All tickets have a unique code on them so as long as the ticket holder has the physical ticket, and checks in at the originally registered for check-in location they can be used. For all ticket transfers, T-shirt size changes are not guaranteed, but we will attempt to accommodate as possible.
