Minneapolis and St. Paul are home to world-class museums, a plethora of theaters, countless local artisans, and two full cities’ worth of breathtaking architecture. To say that the Twin Cities are a mecca for art lovers would be an understatement. One art form that is constantly gaining popularity across our state is the creation of craft beer with its multilayered flavors and rich colors.

Inspired by the art of beer and local artisans, we’ve created a brand-new installment in our Arts & Ales Event Series: Pint Glass Etching. For this event, we are proud to join forces with Indeed Brewing Company and Blue Door Pub – who will begin each evening by serving up a pint of beer and a locally-crafted meal in Indeed’s private event space – “The Ox”. After enjoying the artful beer and food, we are sure to be inspired for our next “craft” – Pint Glass Etching.

As the temperatures rise, nothing will cool you down like an ice cold craft beer! Serve up those beers in a set of hand etched pint glasses from this evenings Arts & Ales! This class will start off with a demonstration of how this process works from our experienced art teachers. We’ll then have the opportunity to choose from pre-made stencils or make our own designs for our glasses. We will then get busy and start creating our very own etchings on a set of pint glasses! As part of this class, you will receive a set of 16 ounce pint glasses, etching liquid, and all brushes, tools, tape and stencils to create your customized pint glasses!
