5-YEAR ANNIVERSARY ‘ST. PADDY’S BREAKFAST’ CELEBRATION

Five years ago, on St. Patrick’s Day 2013, your Local GetKnit Gurus launched our company and took to the streets of St. Paul armed with green beaded necklaces with a medallion that read “GetKnit Events”.  We wandered into bars and through the crowded streets handing out swag and spreading our hopes of what we dreamed of doing at GetKnit Events. Years later, those dreams have come to fruition and we’d love to celebrate with you!  We’re going to pay homage to our scrappy start by hosting a 5-Year Anniversary ‘St. Patrick’s Irish Breakfast’ Celebration complete with food, drinks, music, and of course, green beads necklaces.

Your St. Patrick’s Day morning will start at Bad Weather Brewing Company in St. Paul, MN where they’ll be opening up exclusively for you, our loyal patrons.  They’ll be tapping a keg of their specialty Irish Cream Ale just for us and serving up pints on both nitro and Co2.  After we get settled in, we’ll dig into a hearty, traditional Irish breakfast catered by our dear friends at Blue Door Pub.  They’ll be serving up an “Irish Fry Up” which will include two eggs, sausage and bacon, grilled tomato slice, baked beans, potato hash, toast and marmalade.  In addition to breakfast and beers, we’ll have donuts, local coffee, and OJ for you to enjoy.

To get you in the mood to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (and our 5-year!), The Langer’s Ball will be playing live Irish-inspired music throughout the entire party.  This two-piece Irish Folk-punk band has been writing, touring, and performing for over a decade. Playing their own brand of traditional drinking songs and original material, with a thumping beat and a flurry of notes and harmonies, you’ll dash to refill your drink and cheer for more.
