Spring has sprung in the Twin Cities and we want to add a bit of spice to your normal springtime Saturday plans with this brand new experience – Crawfish, Creole, and Craft Beer!  We’ve partnered up with The Tipsy Steer and Lake Monster Brewing  to help bring this vibrant, spring celebration to life. Crawfish boils are a long-time tradition in the south for family and friends to gather in celebration of spring, sun, and food.  During this 3-hour experience, you’ll be invited to do just that as we’re treated to a flavor-packed crawfish boil, craft beer, live entertainment, dancing, and more!

Our event will begin at St. Paul’s Lake Monster Brewing, where your Local Gurus will be awaiting your arrival.  After you get checked in, you’ll be invited to find a seat on our privately reserved space in their courtyard patio or in their adjacent semi-private event space in their taproom.  Seating will be community style and first-come-first serve.  As we get seated we will be serenaded by some roaming fiddlers, who’ll help set the tone for our cajun celebration together!

Once we’ve settled in, you’ll be invited to order up a craft beer (seltzer or N/A) from Lake Monster’s ever changing rotation of locally crafted and award winning beers.  In addition to their usual line-up, they’ll also be featuring some specialty brews just for our event!   Our friends at Cajun Crawfish Hotdish will help to heat things up with their traditional Cajun music from SW Louisiana.  After a few songs, they’ll do a “mini” dance lesson to help encourage you to get out of your seats and moving to their folksy music!

As we all enjoy the musical talents of the “Crawfish”, you’ll be invited to order up your own crawfish boil dinner from our good friends at The Tipsy Steer anytime between 6-8 PM so you can enjoy at your own speed.  Just for this event, they’ll be cooking up a perfectly seasoned crawfish boil onsite – so you can experience first hand both the sights and the smells!  With the goal of creating a scrumptious and well rounded dinning experience for you, their boil will feature not only crawfish, but a mix of shrimp, andouille sausage, corn, and potatoes with onion, garlic, and oil seasonings.  Each massive helping will be served up with a chunk of buttery garlic bread.   Since crawfish are not a normal dinner time cuisine, we will prepare some “how to” demonstrations for you to properly enjoy those “fresh water lobsters”.  Don’t worry, we know this traditional southern meal can get quite messy, so we will make sure you have your very own bib and paper towels a-plenty.

The rest of the night is yours to enjoy as you see fit – dance the night away and show off your fancy new footwork, snap a picture with our roaming mascot “Crawdaddy”, or order up another round of craft beer and tap your foot from your table.  No matter how you choose to spend this evening, we’re sure you’ll head home with memories as vibrant as the music, food, and drinks we enjoyed on this one-of-a-kind cajun celebration of spring!
