EVENT DETAILS:

Summertime in Minnesota means cookouts, patios, and outdoor adventures on one of the many bodies of water found within our beautiful state!  For this Get-together we’ve brought together all of those summer favorites to create a perfect day trip on the water: Paddleboarding & Pints on the St. Croix River.

Our day of adventuring will begin at Stillwater’s newest brewery, Maple Island Brewing Company.  Here your local ‘Gurus’ will be awaiting your arrival and get you checked in for our day on the water.  Once our intimate group of ‘boarders’ all arrive, we will hop on our private charter bus that will carry us up-river to beautiful Interstate State Park in Taylors Falls, MN.

Upon arrival, our partners from Twin Cities Paddleboard will greet us and have all of our paddleboards and equipment waiting for us.  A representative from their team of experienced paddlers will give us a tutorial on paddleboarding to ensure that we are all ready to take to the river.  Once we’ve found our ‘sea legs’ we will hop on our paddleboards and begin our 6-mile journey on the pristine waters of the St. Croix River.  We will leisurely make our way down river, taking our time to enjoy the beauty, a riverside snack, and even a dip or two in the refreshing water.

After completing our journey, our luxury bus will be waiting to carry us back to Maple Island Brewing Company, which is perched on the shore of the river in historic downtown Stillwater.

At the brewery, we will enjoy a well-deserved pint of one of their refreshing brews paired with a delicious, fresh, and hearty dinner catered to the brewery from our friends at ZZQ Smokehouse just for our group of adventurers.  For our meal, you’ll have an option of a smoked pork, chicken, or potabella mushroom sandwich, served with an array of sides including homemade potato salad, baked beans, and cole slaw.  After we’ve eaten our fill, you will be free to order up another round of beers, take advantage of our picturesque surroundings, and continue to explore Stillwater – or simply head home happy, sun-kissed, and having crossed yet another adventure of your bucket list.
