Set sail this summer on the inaugural Brunch Boat: A St. Croix River Jazz, Drinks and Brunch Cruise! During this outing, you’ll be treated to a 3-hour scenic river cruise featuring specialty drinks, scrumptious brunch, live jazz and more!

Our event will begin in the “Birthplace of Minnesota”, where your Local Gurus will be awaiting your arrival on the Stillwater River Boats docks. After check-in, you’ll be welcomed aboard our private vessel for the day, the Empress, a 3-level historic riverboat with an iconic single wheel paddle which features tin ceilings, a stained glass horse shoe shaped bar, two enclosed levels with ample river-view seats and an open-aired rooftop to soak up the sun and stunning views of the river (weather permitting). In true brunch fashion, as you board you’ll be greeted with a welcome donut from our friends at A Baker’s Wife Pastry Shop served with a hot cup of (bottomless) coffee.

Once you find your sea legs, you’ll be invited to order up an included brunch inspired cocktail which includes your choice of Bloody Mary, Mimosa, or Spiked Coffee. Or should you prefer – you can also choose between any of their craft beers, house wines or non-alcoholic options.

As we make our way down river, we will be treated to live jazz from the acclaimed Zacc Harris Trio. Zacc Harris is a Minneapolis-based guitarist, composer, and bandleader who has been an integral part of the Twin Cities jazz scene since 2005. In 2017, he was named the Twin Cities’ Best Jazz Artist by City Pages. Just for our event, they’ll be treating us to two sets of jazz as smooth as the hollandaise on our Croque Monsieur Savory Bread Pudding! With the help of our friends from Genuis of Fun Event Production, we’ll pipe their music throughout the boat – so you can take in their soulful tunes no matter where you find yourself.

As our live entertainment shows off their musical skills, we will open up the brunch buffet for your enjoyment, which will feature this delicious menu:

You’ll be invited to enjoy your brunch anywhere you feel comfortable, as you take in the beautiful scenery of the St. Croix River and enjoy the relaxing music from our on-board entertainment.

The rest of the late morning and early afternoon is yours to enjoy as you see fit – take in the beautiful scenery from the open aired rooftop, snap your photo in front of the “donut wall”, take part in our fun drawings for a chance to win some prizes, or order up another round of brunch bevies and let that smooth jazz wash away your worries. No matter how you choose to spend your time, we’re sure you’ll head home with memories as sweet as the music, food, and drinks we enjoyed on this one-of-a-kind Brunch Boat.
